My book coaching services are designed to help you start strong and meet your goals. I can be especially helpful as you develop your book’s concept and overall structure. Here are the details.
Book One-Page or Inside Outline
If you want fast and focused, working through the One-Page process will give you clarity and a simple overview to follow as you write. Perfect if the book is in your head but not on paper or if you’ve started writing but gotten bogged down with too many ideas.
- 3-week program
- One planning call and three Editorial Feedback sessions. Requires the week’s assignment to be submitted the Monday prior to feedback.
Answer the basic questions about your book so you can write forward with purpose. Includes the One-Page and expands the process with major plot points, first and last scenes, and more.
- 6-week program
- One planning call and five Editorial Feedback sessions. Requires the week’s assignment to be submitted the Monday prior to feedback.
First Draft Coaching
When you’re ready to make serious progress, ongoing coaching helps keep you on track and provides the feedback essential to making significant progress or even finishing a first draft you’ll be happy with. If you have a clear vision, we can jump right in. If you’re still in the noodling phase, we can start with the One-Page process and move forward from there.
- 3-month committment
- Two deadlines each month, with Editorial Feedback for each one. Requires 20 pages to be submitted the Monday prior to feedback. Also includes a phone call at the beginning of each month and a next steps session to discuss your project at the end.
If you’re mired in self-doubt or procrastination, give yourself the gift of a session dedicated to working through whatever ails your creative spirit.
- One 60-minute call
