About

I am an artist and writer who creates uplifting cozy romance mysteries about women discovering that it’s never too late to reinvent themselves, pursue long-buried dreams, and find unexpected love along the way.
As a lifelong creative, my path has never been a straight line. Over the years, I have worked an astonishing twenty-seven different jobs, giving me a deep appreciation for resilience and the unexpected directions a life can take. While those roles varied wildly, almost every single one required a deep relationship with words and visuals. I have done freelance technical writing for everything from quartz crystal catalogs to banking software, designed programs for non-profits, edited corporate magazines, directed professional photo shoots, and built websites.
For decades, I used my storytelling and design skills to shape other people's visions. Now, I am finally using them to shape my own.
My novels blend emotional depth, small-town charm, gentle humor, and intriguing mysteries with heroines who have spent a lifetime putting others first and are finally learning to choose themselves. Inspired by second chances, creative reinvention, and the courage it takes to begin again, my stories invite you to settle in with a cup of tea and stay awhile.
That same love for giving things a second life is why I create hand-bound artist journals. I take old, forgotten books, remove their pages, and repurpose their covers—decorating them with paint, mixed-media imagery, and vintage fabrics. Inside, I hand-bind a curated variety of real, high-quality artist papers, including watercolor paper, heavy sketch paper, kraft paper, and vellum. These are not fragile junk journals meant only for display; they are tactile, durable tools designed to be used, messy, and filled with your own creative expressions.
When I’m not writing or binding, I’m usually painting, browsing art supplies I absolutely do not need, or reorganizing my craft room for the hundredth time.
