Sonya Myers has been making art for over thirty years, entirely self-taught. She works in acrylic, oil, and mixed media, drawn to abstraction as a way of capturing feeling rather than form. Her artist journals, handbound from the pages of old books, grew out of the same impulse: to make something with her hands that carries a life of its own.

She has been writing all her life. Her debut novel, A Certain Light, is available on Amazon.
